is there an app or way to tell when and if my vpn gets disconnected

Just wondering if there is a 3rd party app or any other way to tell when or if my vpn disconnects and reconnects.

just looking for away to figure out how reliable my vpn connection is.

I just do not have the time to sit and stare at the screen waiting for it to happen, and there is no sound notification that gives me any indication of disconnects and reconnects.

My VPN app always informes about disconnections and reconnections. The program showes a small a popup with such info. Fortunately, it happens not very often.
I never heard about special warning programs. So I recommend to put this question to the VPN' technical support.
