OpenVPN for Windows Mobile 10
Please port the OpenVPN to Windows Mobile 10. It is the only application I miss in Microsoft Store and even though the amount of users is far from iOS and Android there are still plenty of them.

Yes! Need it badly!
It's been years that we are asking that here.
Do OpenVPN crew really read this?

Re: OpenVPN for Windows Mobile 10
I'd also love to see an OpenVPN app for Windows 10 Mobile. I have an OpenVPN server running at home but I can't connect to my home network right now, which was possible on my previously owned iPhone. I really hope there will be an app for Windows 10 Mobile!

It seems that no one of OpenVPN developers reads this.

Yes, please bring OpenVPN to the Windows phone, I use the Sophos UTM firewall in several locations, and I know of at least 16 other Windows mobile phone users needing this.
The ability to use RDP on continuum is pretty cool.

Re: OpenVPN for Windows Mobile 10
With the newly released desktop app converter from windows you could port it into a UWP, Desktop at first then slowly keep adding to it to fully convert it to work on Windows 10 mobile, Xbox and even Hololens (In that order please lol)
Kodi told me it was impossible even though I asked them enough, then microsoft got in contact with them and they made it UWP, look at their webpage for info https://kodi.tv/kodi-goes-windows-store/
You would need to update 1 app for the whole ecosystem and a VPN is a vital right for privacy on any device, especially for businesses and the app in the store may generate some clients and advertising as there aren't many VPNs on the store
As stated above RDP in awesome for what windows mobile doesn't support while the UWP apps come to life and continuum is the future but without a vpn I daren't use it in public hotspots
Only asking because your VPN is the best and kodi thought it could never be done as their app was so complex
Thanks and good luck!

Re: OpenVPN for Windows Mobile 10
craigrs: It is not that easy as you might have expected. VPN requires far more integration to the operating system than regular desktop apps, so converter can hardly provide that.
On the other hand the point of getting in touch with somebody from Microsoft would definitely make sense - they usually reward programmers if their applications are beneficial for the platform.

Yeah I didn't expect it to be easy at all
Just want them to try and give it a go,they will never know how hard it is if they dont try, windows + OpenVPN developers would have a lot better chance than just trying to make a new app from scratch on their own and it seems like everybody would win: Microsoft, OpenVPN and us the end users

Re: OpenVPN for Windows Mobile 10
This would be a key part of my remaining with Windows 10 Mobile. I currently use a L2TP/IPSEC vpn and would like to move to using the VPN diagnosed as the most secure.
Please support W10M by contacting Microsoft and getting their help. They support other VPN solutions and with the rise of OpenVPN in the enterprise world it is key that they provide you with the support you need to roll out to Windows 10.

Baenwort: Exactly - I guess Microsoft will give them support and help if they ask for it.

Re: OpenVPN for Windows Mobile 10
This is the one app windows 10 is missing that I want most. I use OpenVPN on my Surface products but not having it on my Windows phone means have to run two VPN Servers to have full connectivity to my home network. Can you covert the current Windows build to a UWP app? That solve our ask and give you support for two platforms with one code base.
