Hi, I setup openvpn server mode in a windows 11 Pro.
Is working, a client can connect to the machine which is the plan, but we can reach the server only by his ovpn IP:
Network vpn tunnel: 10.10.200.0/24
LAN: 192.168.8.0/24
My remote client receive 10.10.200.6
my windows box server: 10.10.200.1 and lan ip 192.168.8.10
I can reach the server by they ovpn ip 10.10.200.1
But I cannot reach the box by their LAN IP 192.168.8.10.
I add the parameter in the server config:
push "route 192.168.8.0 255.255.255.0"
But no luck yet.
Some could point if this is possible, windows 11 pro is not my network firewall is behind one, I would like to reach the machine using his lan IP, if is possible what I miss from the config or a extra step in my windows 11 pro ovpn server
Running latest version 2.6.6
Thanks.
Windows OVPN Server cannot reach server lan IP

Re: Windows OVPN Server cannot reach server lan IP
did you enable Routing on server ?
Furthermore > to access PC's on same subnet with the server via OpenVPN (say from home !) you will need to ADD a persistent route on EACH machine that you plan to reach via that openvpn server.
