I am working on getting a DD-WRT OpenVPN Sever setup. So far, I have a bout 80% success. I can currently connect to the VPN, access the internet, and access local resources by their IP's.
However, even though I can access most local resources through my browser and with the PING command I cannot seem to access the router.
My primary LAN is 192.168.1.0/24; my OpenVPN pool is 192.168.2.0/24. My OpenVPN connected client has the IP 192.168.2.2.
If I ping 192.168.1.10 (another network resource) from my OpenVPN connected client it works. If I ping 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1 (my router) I get nothing back.
I am able ping (and access via the browser) 192.168.1.1 and 192.68.2.1 (same physical router device) from a machine that is directly connected to the router via wifi.
Can anyone give me some assistance resolving this problem?
Thanks,
begleysm
