Question about assigning ip for a client

Hi!
I have a quick question about OpenVPN. For example when i assign client1 192.168.18.14 IP then it works, server is also on 192.168. etc. But is it somehow possible to give the client an IP address for example this --> 172.16.5.15? Still a newbie here so my knowledge with networking is a bit small.
