Soo what did go wrong? i tough that it should work after those "./configure --disable-lzo" "make" and "make install"

Any help would be really appreciated.

That did the trick, thank you.

Next problem:

Code: Select all

jp@MarsupilamiNAS:/etc/openvpn/conf# /usr/local/sbin/openvpn /etc/openvpn/conf/vpnserver.confMon Jul 20 19:40:08 2009 OpenVPN 2.1_rc19 i386-pc-solaris2.11 [SSL] built on Jul 18 2009
Mon Jul 20 19:40:08 2009 NOTE: OpenVPN 2.1 requires '--script-security 2' or higher to call user-defined scripts or executables
Mon Jul 20 19:40:08 2009 Diffie-Hellman initialized with 1024 bit key
Segmentation Fault (core dumped)
jp@MarsupilamiNAS:/etc/openvpn/conf#
Any help with that Segmentation fault? Where to look.

Here is config based on sample config file (edited help comments to shorten it):

If you are using bash, you need to adjust your path:

echo $PATH

Make sure the folder OpenVPN is in is set in there.
doug@nj01-01-01:~$ echo $PATH
/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/games

doug@nj01-01-01:~$ sudo su -
nj01-01-01:~# echo $PATH
/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin
