wrong GPG certificate

Post by openvpn123456 » Fri Jun 30, 2017 9:38 am

Hi,

I posted a message in another thread viewtopic.php?f=30&t=24177 about my download of openvpn having an invalid signature. I am still having this issue when I download a fresh copy.

Would you be able to verify why this is the case?
Hi,
I downloaded openvpn-install-2.4.3-I601.exe and it has been signed with the unknown D72AF3448CC2B034 certificate.
Can you please clarify if this is correct?

The file has this hash SHA-512: a0da5281a38c2445af1c89f3153be6ced9d419b2e2c94c0326cd0821c6dad682808ada2bba5643754c5c9971b84940f4020163af4053d83ff13e605748cb13f0

I can verify that your SHA-512 is correct.

Make sure you're checking against the correct GPG key, 8CC2B034 is the "Security mailing list GPG key" not either of Samuli's keys.
