Help a total noob trying to set up OpenVPN on ubuntu

Post by Claythegreat » Sun Aug 21, 2016 3:15 am

Hello! I've been trying to OpenVPN set up on my ubuntu droplet following this(https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... untu-16-04) tutorial on Digital Ocean.

I got all the way to Step 9 without too much trouble, but when I execute

sudo systemctl start openvpn@server It says /etc/init.d/openvpn@server: file does not exist

I've been coming through the tutorial again and couldnt find anything, I'm not sure what's supposed to be in this file much less what it is

I'm not sure what information you need, but I will be happy to provide it!

That is a crappy tutorial.

Try arch-linux wiki for openvpn.
