OpenVPN Centos 7 libsystemd

Post by nksky » Wed Mar 02, 2016 7:41 pm

Hi,

I am trying to install OpenVPN on my Centos 7 server. For some reason it will not install, it says it requires libsystemd, but I have searched everywhere and cannot up with a solution.

This is the result of a : yum install openvpn

Error: Package: openvpn-2.3.10-1.el7.x86_86 (epel)
Requires: libsystem.so.0()(LIBSYSTEMD_209)(64 bit)
Error: Package: openvpn-2.3.10-1.el7.x86_86 (epel)
Requires: libsystem.so.0()(64 bit)

Has anyone seen this before. Thanks in advance for any help.

John

I have followed your steps exactly, but the problem persists. What is libsystemd?

Thanks
John
