Site-to-client iOS devices in China

Post by DM003 » Mon Dec 14, 2015 9:08 pm

I need help with the whole process....
For now, my boss (in America) needs his iPhone 6, iPad Pro, and Macbook to work from east coast China with our company Gmail and some local file access. I'm turning to OpenVPN, but besides basic computer networking and some computer savvy, I have no idea what I'm doing. So I tried using this step-by-step https://community.openvpn.net/openvpn/w ... dows_Guide for easy-rsa in shell. And things aren't off to a good start. Server side has the GUI "green light", but the clients says "key password fail" pretty early on in connection.

I feel like I need to start over. So for now I will list what I have at my disposal and hope a good Samaritan has some good advice/links...

My goal: allow my boss to tunnel tunnel over the Great Firewall to the US from any wifi connection with OpenVPN on his iDevices. At least to access company notes and our google apps.
Server side is a Windows 2012 Server with a virtual domain and file server inside. I can run the service from the file VM if need be.
The gateway is a Netgear Prosafe VPN firewall (not exactly doing it's job atm) that I am more than willing to flash with DD-WRT.
Client side I've got a Windows 7 machine for testing on the same domain as the virtual domain and file server, and the 3 iDevices mentioned earlier.
All of this stuff is currently in the US, but there is a need for trips to China every now-and-again.

Please help.
