I assume that the android-openvpn-settings project at https://code.google.com/p/android-openvpn-settings/ is not an officially supported one. Has anyone reviewed it - are there any issues related to security -- OR, is there a better way to use openvpn on Android?
Thanks,
John

Re: android-openvpn-settings
i used it just the other day, i found it useful.
if i remember right it required the config and certs to be on the sd card...
i did not test whether it can handle pass-phrases on the certs
i only set it up on that one phone, and it was for a management type who knows nothing of tech.
it was very easy to use, and overall i was pleased with it.
it even starts the vpn on boot, which was EXACTLY what i was hoping for
hopefully i will get an android for myself and be able to play more
