windows 7 issue

Post by billgod » Sun Sep 19, 2010 3:53 pm

Sorry there was no client side forums so I have to post here. I have a working vpn network. openvpn running on a router running dd-wrt. windows xp clients connect and work 100% and have been for over a year. I installed a windows 7 client. The openvpn gui says its connected. I can ping my local vpn ip address but not the server. I cannot ping anything on the other side of the vpn either. I have disabled UAC in windows 7 also disabled the firewall. I have run as administrator. Same results. Anyone have a clue as to what is going on?

Are the routes being succesfully pushed from the server to the client?

Route print will show the currently defined routes in windows 7, (I think).
