High latency with openvpn.

When I connect the vpn , the latency go up :

What are the reasons causing ? Thank you !
And I use the OpenVPN server as internet gateway , it is very slow to visit the website.

a) you have told us basically nothing about your setup
b) except for packet 182, your ping times do not look high
