App OpenVPN discharge the battery immediately

Postby langioletto » Tue Nov 08, 2016 2:03 pm

With the new ios 10.1.1 openvpn tunnel is always active

This is because the option:

Settings > screen and brightness > up to activate

constantly maintains the active tunnel, even display off

If you disable that function everything is as before

It's probably because you have an iPhone 7 or 7+.
No such problem with my iPhone 6 or iPad Air 2

I have the same problem. Also iPhone 7. I don't find this option. Please more detailed description. Maybe screenshots? Thank you

I also suffer from the same problem on my iphone 6. When I activate the openVPN application whether on wifi or 3G network my battery starts to go down quickly. I think it is due to some bug or new configuration of the last version, because in the previous ones I do not remember this happening.

Has anyone found a solution yet?
