First attempt...almost done.

Post by fmarzocca » Sat Feb 23, 2013 1:13 pm

Hi,
I have imported my .ovpn configuration into OpenVPN 1.0 for ipad.
It gets connected but I can't reach my server. My only doubt is that in the ovpn file there is this line:

tls-auth <path>/ta.key 1

is this supported by the ios version?

Thanks

Yes, tls-auth with filename and key-direction parameter is supported.

Thank you!

I have added the key-direction parameter. Now the connection is error-free but the browser does not resolve my host name. If I browse with the IP address, I get connected to the remote server.

How can I fix this DNS problem on the iPad?

Thanks

Does your server push dns settings? If so, perhaps try removing them or modifying them. If not, add some. Sounds like DNS to me for sure!
