Android app can't connect

I installed Openvpn on a vps from DigitalOcean . Created certificate for router, ipad and smartphone. Ipad and router connects the server without a problem. Also using the smartphone as hotspot ipad connects the server just fine.
But the smartphone (using the official OpenVPN app ) connects for less than a second and disconnects. Log doesn't show any particular reason for disconnecting.

I added " setenv CLIENT_CERT 0 " line to the OPVN file , just above " setenv opt block-outside-dns " . This time it doesnt connect at all, times out.

Any idea what could the problem be?
