Trouble with OpenVPN repositories

Hi,
Having some trouble with the openvpn repos. The issue affects both ubuntu xenial and debian jessie.
I do this daily, but had some trouble yesterday and today.
After adding the gpg key and adding a sources.list fragment I execute apt-get update and this is what I get
W: The repository 'https://build.openvpn.net/debian/openvpn/stable xenial Release' does not have a Release file.
N: Data from such a repository can't be authenticated and is therefore potentially dangerous to use.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.
E: Failed to fetch https://build.openvpn.net/debian/openvp ... 4/Packages server certificate verification failed. CAfile: /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt CRLfile: none
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
