Setting Up VPN For WD PR4100 PRO Server

Hi all,
OpenVPN was recommended to me. It see it's a very powerful tool and I can't wait to learn more... one step at a time.
I have a WD PR4100 and I used to access it through PLEX and WD Cloud.
Now I want to use OpenVPN to access my cloud.
I will download the PC program and install it. Any steps I will need to follow so I can access the cloud in my network and outside of my network?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
