Cant connect to OpenVPN on debian

I have a vpn with earthvpn and i downloaded their certificates and put it in etc/openvpn/ but when i try to connect to one of the servers using this command: ''sudo openvpn servergoeshere.com.tcp443.ovpn'' it says that ''ERROR opening configuration file: servergoesher.com.tcp443.ovpn''

any help?
