Failover fails on another ethX

Post by 9krystian » Wed May 17, 2017 1:26 pm

Hi,

I configured failover in OpenVPN AS on default eth interfaces on both nodes (public) for WebUI. When I change eth interfaces to some other eth interface in private subnet on both nodes, failover doesnt work well... It's seems like after that failover starts to getting lost.
Any idea why it happens? Why it works only on default public interface?

The failover mode only works in a private LAN with private IP addresses on a network that supports UCARP/VRRP traffic. Is this what you're having problems with?
I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.
