Pre Auth AntiVirus Check
Can anyone point me in the right direction to how I would setup the Access Server clients to check for the presence of Antivirus and status of updates? Or is this even possible?

It's possible but it does require you to write python script in post_auth that sends instructions to the connect client to check for the presence of installed programs and their version numbers. Status of updates of the antivirus program ITSELF however that's something that the connect client doesn't do.
I'm still alive, just posting under the openvpn_inc alias now as part of a larger group.
