Can't get Web Access to OpenVPN from Windows 10

Post by sandyj » Fri Apr 14, 2017 3:16 pm

Hi,

I am a new developer on a team of developers who are using the OpenVPN server and OpenVPN clients.

I am using Windows 10 Home. I have installed the OpenVPN GUI client on my machine.

While I am able to use OpenVPN to access a MongoDB database server located on the VPN using a MongoDB client, I am not able to access websites hosted on the VPN. This seems to be specifically an HTTP problem, because I am able to run the ping command to connect to the web host from my Windows command line. Just to be sure, I tried pinging the web host from a Windows 10 computer that was not running the OpenVPN client, and it didn't connect.

The rest of the team members can happily access the VPN based websites from their Linux and Windows computers.

I've searched extensively on Google, but didn't find an answer.

Any help will be much appreciated,

Thanks.
