Hi,
I'm looking for a way to have
-one config dir with all my .ovpn file, to be available within the openvpn-gui
-another dir containing THE .ovpn file to be used while starting openvpn as a service.
A found a way to do it a long time ago on a now defunct PC and i didn't manage to find it again ...

I have not tried it myself but you can edit the registry > HKLM > Software > Openvpn > * to point to different config_dir

Re: Two config dir on a windows client
Thanks it's worked.
We have 2 sets of registry values:
HKLM > Software > Openvpn used by the service
HKLM > Software > Openvpn-gui used by the gui
each of them got its own config_dir
We have 2 sets of registry values:
HKLM > Software > Openvpn used by the service
HKLM > Software > Openvpn-gui used by the gui
each of them got its own config_dir
