Hello!
I try to use XCA to generate my certificates and keys for OpenVPN. This seems to work quite well, but I do not know what the appropriate cert an key export format for OpenVPN is?! "PEM private" to export my keys does not seem to work.
Thus my question in short: how do I use XCA to generate and export my certs and keys? I need separate files since I want to put them [inline] to the client config file....
THX a lot!
Thorsten

Open XCA ,
on Private Keys choose the private key that you want to export , on the right side click on Export , Export Format -> PEM private
on Certificates tab expand your CA, you should have the signed certificates underneath it , click on the one you want to export , on the right side click on Export -> Export format -> PEM (*.crt)
