(sorry I'm a newbee)
I'm on Xubuntu 16.04 (I got the same problem with Mint)
After having installed ( sudo apt install openvpn ) at the starting of my laptop I've 2 new login screens 1/ Auth UserName 2/Passw and finally 3/the normal screen (asking login).
How could I change that and don't get those 2 unusefull login screens?

Configure the openvpn service to not start at boot.

Thanks, but I don't know how to do that. There is not such option on the Stating Session Panel. Is it something to change in PolicyKit ?
