Manual Generated traffic as income of openvpn

Post by saeidmscs » Thu Apr 11, 2013 5:23 pm

Hi there.
My case is as described below:
I want to generate some sort of traffic like HTTP or Layer 2 ,etc with some software like packEth or Ostinato, then put it as input traffic of openvpn.
Is it possible?
by the way,i want to set my windows as host(which server is on it) and a virtualbox windows vm as guest(that client runs over it).

cheers

not sure if I understand the question: a VPN behaves very similar to a regular network connection: how would you "inject" such traffic on your lan adapter? tcpreplay? you could use something similar for the VPN connection
