Define one or more networks on one OpenVPN instance

This is where we can discuss what we would like to see added or changed in OpenVPN.

Define one or more networks on one OpenVPN instance

Post by elo » Wed Sep 01, 2010 8:26 am

We are giving defined/fixed IP addresses to our customers, the biggest network on an OpenVPN instance ist /16 (65k addresses)
For the old windows OpenVPN clients we have to use /30 networks and can only use 16k addresses from a /16 network.

For our customers we have set up a cluster with a DNS Name, but if all addresses from the /16 network will be used we have to set up a new cluster with a /16 network, with a new DNS name.

More beautifull will be, if we can define larger networks in a OpenVPN instance or define 2 or more different /16 Networks .
