OPEN VPN PROBLEM

Post by SouthPawPhilly » Tue Jun 14, 2016 10:38 pm

I have a HP Notebook that was updated from 8.1 to Windows 10. I've tried many times and no matter what the tap installation fails. Please do something so that I can use VPN on my computer.

It seems that the most recent iteration of IE has removed a setting that allowed you to specify if you were offline or online. The Cisco Any connect software seems to look at this setting and doesn’t even bother attempting to connect if it indicates you are offline. The fix is make a small change to your windows Registry to tell Cisco that you are online and to attempt to connect. You need to use REGEDIT to change your registry.
I can't remember necessary key. Think that you can find learning videos in youtube as I did.
