OpenVPN and remote connections

Post by duffus » Wed Nov 10, 2010 1:12 pm

Hey, I am new to this forum, so if I posted in the wrong section accept my apologies. I recently installed OpenVPN on a Ubuntu system. Actually I did not finalize the install because I did it remotely through SSH. After I downloaded the package and I typed in this command: "dpkg -i + the name od the .deb file" everything got messed up. The problem is that now all my connection are refused and I can not connect to my box. Not even pinging it does not work (I can establish and PPTP VPN with my network). Unfortunetly I have no physical access to the computer, nor there is someone who can help me. Is there any solution to my problem or I am "doomed"? :)

you need remote hands at the datacenter, or an ipkvm
