openvpn on windows 10% download speed as on arch linux

Hello,
I have a vpn account with private internet access. When I connect to their servers using Arch Linux and openvpn, I receive between 400-600Mb/s down and 40-50Mb/s up. My ISP provides 1 Gig down and 50 up. When I connect to private internet access using openvpn for Windows (I'm using Windows 10 Pro) with the same cat 6 cable used with Linux I receive between 30-80Mb/s down and 40Mb/s up. What could be causing such a huge discrepancy?
