wifi adapter looses IP on openvpn connect

I'm having a strange issue where OpenVPN client kills wifi adapter IP.
Wifi works without issues, ovpn client starts and connects - bam, wifi looses IP immediately.
Nothing is in the routing table for the wifi interface.
This is definitely related to windows firewall since everything works with firewall disabled.

I tried adding the exception rules with openvpn binaries but no luck.
Any receipe for windows 10 firewall to cooperate?

well, this was fast.
Anyways I've added custom outbound rules for openvpn binaries and now it works.

Seems that the thread can be closed.
